Art Bridges Supports Generations

A journey with Jack Whitten

The Creative Futures Council recently completed its first workshop centered on the renowned artist Jack Whitten. Participants created works inspired by Whitten’s innovative approach to painting as a technical process. Students from Chattahoochee Elementary also embraced their creativity by recreating pieces inspired by Whitten’s Lapsang, on loan from Art Bridges. Both programs have explored Whitten’s legacy and found inspiration in using found materials to create art.

This program is supported by Art Bridges and the National Endowment for the Arts, and made possible by our Art for Children donors.
