2 Weeks with the Arts
2 Weeks with the Arts is the Gadsden Arts Center & Museum’s popular celebration of the art of creative living, and a vital fundraiser for Gadsden Arts programs in our community. Each year we feature accomplished arts professionals with a mix of free and ticketed events, including the 39th Art in Gadsden Juried Exhibition & Collect Sale, Conversation with Collectors, and Midsummer Night’s Dream. All events take place in our historic Bell & Bates Building, and ticketed events are anticipated to sell out!
WEEK 1 • FREE EVENTS
Preview Week
January 12 – 16, 2027, from 10am – 5pm | FREE ADMISSION
During Week 1, patrons can explore exhibitions and join our Curator and Director for scheduled tours of our AAM Accredited Art Museum collections areas. The 39th Art in Gadsden Juried Exhibition preview will be open January 12–16, 10am–5pm. Collectors and patrons can browse works of art by 90+ contemporary artists from North Florida, South Georgia, and Southern Alabama.
WEEK 2 • PREMIER EVENTS
Reservations are limited
October 15, 2026 – Gadsden Arts Director’s Circle Members
November 1, 2026 – Gadsden Arts Members (all levels)
December 1, 2026 – reservations open to the public

Afternoon with the Arts: A Conversation with Collectors
Wednesday, January 20, 2027, from 12pm – 2:30pm
The Afternoon with the Arts features A Conversation with Collectors: Park Adams, Segundo Fernandez, and Joe Munroe. Their collections of art and artifacts span 3,000 years of human history to contemporary art. Hear stories of collecting and the motivation for these extraordinary individuals to preserve and share their incredible collections.
Evening with the Arts: A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Saturday, January 23, 2027, from 6pm – 9:30pm
The finalé of 2 Weeks with the Arts is An Evening with the Arts: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, a dazzling evening of cocktails, dining, music, collectibles, prizes, and art in the museum’s beautiful Bell & Bates Building.
Collect Sale – 39th Art in Gadsden Juried Exhibition
Bidding Opens: Tuesday, January 19, 2027 @ 10AM
Bidding Closes: Saturday, January 23, 2027 @ 9PM
During Week 2, patrons can collect favorite works of art during our four-day sale and experience exciting cultural events. Explore the exceptional artwork featured in the 39th Art in Gadsden Juried Exhibition.
