Art Connections

Art Connections
Teachers and homeschool parents, are you looking for exciting learning and enrichment opportunities for your students? Art Connections is an on-demand program that uses art to bring all subjects to life. You request to have our educator visit your classroom to explore great art and all of its interdisciplinary connections – history, science, math, technology, and more. You can follow that visit with a field trip for your students to experience the original art and make art in the museum’s studios. Art Connections inspires young people to get excited about learning, and introduces museums as places of lifelong discovery.
Each classroom visit engages students with an exhibition-based, standards-correlated activity that connects with the major exhibit on display. A second in-museum experience is available for school groups that can travel to continue the learning experience while interacting with original works of art and creating art in a studio setting. Best of all, all of this programming is offered free of charge!

Art Connections and all Art for Children & Youth programs are made possible by our Art for Children Donors, sponsors Bell & Bates Ace Hardware and Sunnyside Farm Management, and funded in part by a grant awarded by the Community Foundation of North Florida.
