Creative Futures Council

CFC Overview
Applications are closed
Our Creative Futures Council program, formerly called the Teen Art Council, hires teens and young adults to learn about art, museums, and arts careers through classes, projects, and field trips.
If accepted into the program, you will learn through zoom meetings, in-museum workshops, and regional field trips, and assist with planning and implementing events and programs at the Gadsden Arts Center & Museum. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in Field Trips and workshops with professional artists. The program culminates in an exhibition of students’ artwork at Gadsden Arts, during which each student presents their work through a class zoom event that is also recorded and presented online. If you would like additional information contact
Kaiyla Thompson at (850) 627-5023.
The Creative Futures Council is made possible by our Art for Children & Youth Donors, Art Bridges,
sponsors Bell & Bates Home Center and Sunnyside Farm Management, and a grant awarded by the
Community Foundation of North Florida.
