Intern at Gadsden Arts
The Gadsden Arts Center & Museum Internship Program provides museum learning experiences for college students, recent graduates, and professionals looking to learn about museum careers. Interns at Gadsden Arts have the unique opportunity to learn from the staff at a small, rural, community-owned museum that is also accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, a national organization that puts forth best practices and standards in the museum field.
Job Placement
Our former interns have taken various positions in the arts, museums, cultural institutions, and nonprofits including Curatorial Fellow, Director of Marketing, Grant Writer, Director of Development, Associate Curator of Education, Public Programs Coordinator, Art Teacher, Registrar, and PhD. Candidate.

Summer Art Camp Internship
Join in the fun of Summer Art Camp as a Camp Intern! Earn service hours (such as Bright Futures) while having a blast making art alongside our Art Explorers! Camp Interns assist with hands-on activities and ensure our campers are having a great time. We ask interns to apply for at least 1 full week at a time, and welcome repeat weeks!
