Artists’ Opportunities

37th Art in Gadsden – applications close May 16!


Calling all artists! Applications for the 37th Art in Gadsden are due Friday, May 16, 2025, at 5PM. This annual tradition draws art enthusiasts from across the region and showcases an impressive range of art. New and returning artists living within 200 miles of Quincy, Florida, are encouraged to apply.

Every Saturday is a Free Family Day at Gadsden Arts! Create a variety of art projects in the ArtZone, explore galleries with a Visual Scavenger Hunt to win a prize, and relax in the Reading Corner. Plus, take home a free book and an Art @ Home Kit. Activities change every month – we look forward to seeing you here!

American Grit: Florida Crackers, Cowboys, & Cow Hunters Photographs by Adam Rountree

American Grit takes a look at an often unseen way of life – Florida’s cowboys, crackers, and cow hunters – through the lens of photographer Adam Rountree. His powerful images share the legacy of these hardworking people and their lasting impact on Florida’s history, culture, and landscape.
