Join us for the 37th Art in Gadsden Opening Reception & Awards Ceremony on Friday, August 1, from 5–7:30 PM! This year, we are pleased to present 117 works of art by 91 artists. Join us to celebrate the creative talent in our community!
* Doors open at 5PM with refreshments
* The Awards Ceremony begins promptly at 6:30PM

Free for members* and children 17 and under
$5 for non-member adults | $3 for adult students
*Student and Individual memberships admit 2 people; Family and above admit 4 people

Extended Holiday Closure
Fourth of July Weekend • Museum Closed
To accommodate scheduled construction, all public and office spaces of the Gadsden Arts Center & Museum will be closed from Thursday, July 3, through Saturday, July 5. We will reopen for camp on Monday, July 7, and for the public on Tuesday, July 8, with regular business hours from 10 AM–5 PM.
We hope everyone enjoys a safe and festive holiday weekend! While we’re closed, we invite you to explore our upcoming exhibitions and events online using the button below.

Summer Art Camp 2025
Three weeks of fun so far – and still time to join in!
The first three weeks of our 2025 Summer Art Camp have been full of creativity, color, and unforgettable moments – and it’s not over yet! There’s still time to sign up and give your child a summer to remember. Each week offers new hands-on projects, from painting and drawing to sculpture and mixed media.
Thanks to the generous support of our Art for Children donors, approximately 50% of campers were able to attend on partial or full scholarships.

Gallery improvements are underway!
Renovations are nearly complete in our Zoe Golloway Gallery! This project improves aesthetic quality, climate, and security in this vitally important space, which will soon house Gadsden Arts Permanent Collection exhibitions. Upstairs, the Bates Gallery will join the Bates Community Room and Munroe Family Community Gallery in featuring art from our community, expanding representation of our region’s artists.
