We are excited to share our continuous Art in Schools partnership with Chattahoochee Elementary. Here, students drew inspiration from our current exhibition, Jacob Lawrence Three Series of Prints, reflecting on his portrayal of his day-to-day life in Harlem and the retelling of historic events through a dynamic cubism style. 

These works were inspired by Lawrence’s symbolism, especially the tool box in his Genesis Series. What makes this activity even more exciting is that the students didn’t just explore artistic tools; they also reflected on the tools they use in school to enhance their education.
