Calling all artists! Applications are now open for the 37th Art in Gadsden. Each year, this renowned exhibition attracts art lovers from across the region, featuring a stunning variety of artworks by our region’s artists. Both new and returning artists are invited to apply.

What’s happening!

Meet the newest GACM team member: Neda Izadi


Gadsden Arts is excited to welcome Neda Izadi as our new ArtZone Instructor. Currently working towards her Doctorate in Art Education, Neda brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the arts. Born in Tehran, Iran, she began her artistic journey at the age of 10 and earned her MFA in Puppetry from the University of Connecticut in 2017. With over 8 years of professional experience and international exposure in Europe, Neda is eager to share her knowledge and inspire children at Gadsden Arts.

Martha Ann McCaskill Catering Kitchen Dedication


Friends and family gathered at Gadsden Arts to honor the memory of Martha Ann McCaskill with the dedication of a newly remodeled kitchen lovingly renovated in her name, sharing stories of how she had a gift for making everyone feel valued and at home. We are deeply grateful to all who donated and attended in support of this beautiful tribute to Martha Ann McCaskill’s legacy.
