I organize sketchcrawl events 4 times per year: people around the world go out and draw. Then if they want, they can post online at www.sketchcrawl.com. I have also exhibited my artwork at Gadsden Arts.
Gadsden Arts and Quincy Mainstreet have supported our plein aire group for years. Brick and mortar art exhibits are a great way to engage the community with art—and you can see so much more than online.
The Gadsden Arts Center & Museum not only provides exhibit space and relief station for sketchcrawlers, they provide art materials for the people in our community to participate. People are often surprised they still remember how to draw, and when you’re drawing you can see beauty in the world. For those who choose not to participate, just seeing the world through artists’ work can help achieve the same end.
Gadsden Arts gets me to Quincy where I meet old and new friends!
Help us bring the magic of art to our community!
