This, of course, follows the departure of our three current MA's, who are moving on in the field and making us proud! (Alexis Assam - Curatorial Fellowship, St. Louis Art Museum; Lexie Lobaina, Ph.D. semester at the Ringling Museum; Ashton Langrick, Graduate School at Georgetown.)
Chris Rivera - is coming to Tallahassee from Orlando as a graduate student at the FSU College of Fine Arts. He is a painter who has significant gallery experience from work with Valencia College's Anita Wooten Gallery where he handled and installed art, led tours, greeted visitors, and helped plan for exhibitions.
Chris Stewart - is a Tallahassee resident who worked with Gadsden Arts as an intern while completing his undergraduate degree in studio art at FAMU. Chris is also a painter who has extensive customer service experience and exceptional people skills - as a Gadsden Arts intern, he carried out a lapsed member phone campaign by calling 21 lapsed members, all of whom renewed their memberships while thanking him for the call. Chris has also assisted with children's art programs.
Elle Rancourt - is a Tallahassee resident who has been a Gadsden Arts intern for the past year, focusing on work in exhibitions and collections. Like Chris and Chris, Elle is a painter and manages her own business, selling contemporary paintings. She has also worked with children as a nanny and tutor for Maclay School. Elle is presently an Art History major at FSU with a minor in Museum Studies, who will graduate in 2020.
Please be sure to introduce yourselves when you're next in - we're looking forward to working with this new crew of young art professionals!
