Exhibition Interpretation

Gadsden Arts offers a variety of exhibition interpretation materials for all visitors at no charge including Family Gallery Guides, Student Learning Guides, Gallery Didactics, Exhibition Catalogs, Token Response Gallery Game, Scavenger Hunts, and Audio Tours.

Gadsden Arts can provide large-format versions of most materials upon request. Our goal is to provide exciting and educational experiences for all visitors so please contact our Education Director, Anissa Ford with any questions or special requests.

Audio Tours

New to the Gadsden Arts Center & Museum are our exhibition audio tours, which include audio descriptions, background information on artists, and interpretive descriptions of several pieces on display. Available at no additional charge when you visit Gadsden Arts. Audio Tours are provided on GACM iPod Shuffles & headphones. 

Family Gallery Guides

Families gain insight into the varied exhibitions of fine art in the galleries through fun facts, gallery activities, and discussion questions. Family Gallery Guides are offered at no charge with every new exhibition. Download current and past Family Gallery Guides by clicking on any of the exhibitions listed below. 

Florida teachers, please note that Family Gallery Guides primarily address the Florida Common Core Standards of VA.C.1 (Cognition and reflection are required to appreciate, interpret, and create with artistic intent) and VA.O.1 (Understanding the organizational structure of an art form provides a foundation for appreciation of artistic works and respect for the creative process).
