Endowment Giving

The Gadsden Arts Endowment Trust is working for the community every day, supporting facility needs and programs of Gadsden Arts, while ensuring support for our museum in perpetuity.

Donations to the Endowment

Contributions of all sizes are welcome additions to the museum’s Endowment Trust.

For current or legacy leadership donations, donors may create their own separate Donor-Named Funds within the Gadsden Arts Endowment Trust. These funds are invested along with the endowment which is currently valued at $760,000. The endowment is carefully managed by a separate Board of Directors with a moderate investment policy and a conservative 2.5% spending rate to ensure fund growth over time.

Each year, Fund donors receive a report about the impact of their gift, income to the museum, and market value. Contributions of any amount may be added to existing endowment funds at any time.

Donor-Named Funds receive permanent recognition on the museum’s Leadership Giving Wall, the museum website, and in the Gadsden Arts Magazine.

A minimum gift (or pledge payable over several years) of $50,000 is required to create a Donor-Named Fund within the Gadsden Arts endowment.

A minimum gift (or pledge payable over several years) of $100,000 is required to designate a specific area of support for a Donor-Named Fund (e.g., Exhibitions, Education, Facilities).
