Support the ArtZone

The ArtZone is our 2,000 square foot facility that is equipped with up to eight different workstations (e.g., painting, printmaking, collage, etc.) for making art. The ArtZone includes a Children’s Art Library for visitors to browse, read with their families, or use to inspire their own art projects. For hours and information, please see the ArtZone page.

Each year, donor support makes it possible to keep this innovative drop-in art studio FREE for children and families.

Currently serving over 1,500 participants annually, the ArtZone provides fun and welcoming creative experiences and is a gateway into Gadsden Arts for families with limited museum experience. The ArtZone provides an important opportunity for children and visitors of all ages to enjoy the simple pleasure of making things and discovering that everyone can create and appreciate art.

Contributions of any amount are deeply appreciated, as they help to offset the cost each year of space, staffing, and art supplies.

Leadership donors contributing $2,500 and above each year are recognized as ArtZone Community Resource Sponsors in the museum’s annual Donor Honor Roll on the Gadsden Arts website, on the Annual Giving Wall in the museum, on the ArtZone page of the Gadsden Arts website, and in the new Gadsden Arts Magazine.
